Sandy made some simple table runners that came alive with the addition of machine quilting. The solid black backs show the patterns very well.
One of my favorites is the one below. Some of the dragonflies look like they are caught in the spider webs. Don't those spiders look happy about that?
Sandy and I have a wonderful arrangement. She binds quilts for me and I quilt for her. This has helped me so much as the degenerative arthritis in my right hand seems to be accelerating these past few months.
This project was so fun and a chance to try out all my halloween edge to edge designs.
