My friend Karen hired me to put together this darling quilt for her daughter-in-law. It was so darling and reminded me of the literally thousands of yards of ruffles I hemmed and gathered in the early days of "Little Things Mean a Lot", sewing curtains and nursery ensembles. It was like riding a bike though. Some things you never forget. We just don't sew ruffles like we used to. It brought back good memories but I have to admit I was glad when it was done. The machine quilting was simply straight lines in between the ruffles.
